Giving sense and use to waste
AN INFINITE RESOURCE
Everywhere in France, we identify deposits of plastic waste, whether post-industrial or post-consumer.
This resource has promising yet little-known characteristics and mechanical properties, which we are studying in order to revalue the raw material in the construction sector.
Once identified, crushed and transformed via our unique process, this waste is finally presented in the form of massive plates.
LE PAVÉ®, AN UNIQUE
Le Pavé® can be sawn, drilled, chamfered, sanded… It can be worked as easily as wood to adapt to many applications.
It is available in a collection of textures, allowing the colors of the original plastic waste that makes it up to express themselves.
We were looking for a local and environmentally friendly material for our bar liner. Thanks to our architect for putting us in touch with this friendly team!
Lucile Grentzinger & Nicolas François, Co-founders of Blast
A favorite as we like them! At first glance, our eyes were seduced by this recycled plastic material… we immediately fell in love with the colorful terrazzo effect! When we started designing Café Klin with our friends at ADC studio, they came up with the idea of Le Pavé® for the counter space… ethical, beautiful and very easy to maintain, we were won over in a flash! The contemporary look of the material blends very well with our antique decor and retro furniture! We love it!
Emilie Capman, Co-founder of Klin d’oeil and Café Klin
As an independent architect, I wanted from the beginning to turn to partners involved in environmental issues. A commission for the creation of furniture gave me the opportunity to meet Le Pavé®. Both the material and the team were a real discovery. A coherent approach in line with today’s issues, a listening and availability throughout the projects, a surprising material, elegant and which lends itself easily to play.
